GOD's WORD, THE POWER OF DELIVERANCE / PART 2

Posted on by Evangelist Joel Torres

Well here is the template that I promised; it took a little time to post it I really wanted you to review the things I said and had written in Part 1.   Be sure to make a copy of the do’s and don’ts in Part 1 along with the copy of the template especially if you’ve never entered in this type of ministry before.   These are merely guidelines to help you along your journey in the deliverance ministry so you have a biblical and orderly process.

One of the first things I want to mention before getting into what’s in the template is that when your ministering  to individuals that you take your time going over the verses with them, don’t be anxious about anything remember what I said, the word is the only thing that will set them free.    Don’t be so serious when presenting God’s word; be joyful and excited about what God is going to do for them and the promises of deliverance to benefit them for a lifetime.    The attitude that you present is what’s going to set the tone of the environment it’s important because, first of all you want them to feel comfortable and relaxed they’re already going to be anxious as to how all this is going to turn out.

Pray to the Holy Spirit to give you decrement and prophetic utterance in reveling anything hidden and for the type of spirit that has attached themselves to the individual, pray to break the chains of bondage over them.    Ok, so let’s get to the template, now there are a few places in the template that I have in red and in those areas it shows the chapter and verse but not the scripture l did that on purpose so that the bible gets used in the ministering process reading scripture out loud to them.    It’s always good to do that, so that it makes a better impact to those you’re ministering to as well for the purpose that the enemy sees’s that you’re armed with the sword of the Spirit.

Remember as I had mentioned in Part 1 when arriving at the home or place, properly introduce yourself and the team.   Then speak out to the demon and dark forces to be still not to disturb you when ministering to those in need, it will be very quiet and still so don’t worry that you’re not experiencing some kind of paranormal activity etc.    Most likely even if you had said nothing at all to the enemy he would be very still to give the illusion that nothing is going on.    Now let me also mention that there are going to be different approaches when casting out demons from a dwelling and over an individual, there are going to be the ones that cause disturbances in the home and then there are unclean spirits (demons) that may have attached themselves to the individuals.   After you have cleared out and cleansed the home, then proceed to pray over the individuals at the end of your walk through of the home (be sure to anoint them with oil if you haven’t already).   The reason being is so that there is nothing in the home that can interfere with the prayer session.    Also be aware when it comes to an individual or individuals it may seem that everything is ok with them and everything seems normal.    A stubborn spirit (s) will be very still as though nothing’s wrong and try to go unnoticed being very still, so command any unclean spirit or stubborn spirits to loosen their hold over them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.    It may not be a bad idea to put the bible up against their chest or upon their head when praying over them, as a symbolic spiritual sword of the word of God actively breaking the bondage and strongholds of the enemy.

Under the subtitle “Justification” on the first page at the bottom in Red bold letters (in the template) you’ll see “Prayer of Salvation” this is where you lead the individuals in a prayer of Salvation before going on into the next section “Spiritual Blessings Of Christ”, (the benefits entitled to them as believers in Christ through Redemption).   Take the time to allow God through the Holy Spirit to give you the knowledge as to explaining each verse in all the categories of this template so that everything that you say is inspired by the Holy Spirit coming from the heart in which you speak it from.    As I said take your time going through the word of God with them, this begins to shake up the atmosphere of the enemy and loosens his grip and brings in the power of the kingdom of God.

DELIVERANCE TEMPLATE:

RECONCILIATION:

2Cor 5: 17-20 / (Born again)

17)  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

18)  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation

19) That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.  And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

20)  We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us, on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God!

21)  God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2Cor 2:  (Portion of scripture)

2)  Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation (deliverance)

“Through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ that He shed on Calvary we have been given the gift of Reconciliation and have been justified by grace that we are saved”!

JUSTIFICATION:

Romans 4:25 / 5:1-2

Chapter 4

Chapter 5:1-2, 18

1)       Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2)      Through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

GOD's WORD, THE POWER OF DELIVERANCE PART 1

Posted on by Evangelist Joel Torres

Through the years God has used me in the area of what I call “Deliverance Ministry”, that’s praying for people who are being attacked by demonic forces.  The type of areas of attacks very… for example, unstable minds, bodily attacks, illness, occult activity, paranormal activity in the home etc.

What I want to do is share Biblical applications of God’s word over such attacks that people you may know or family members may be going through.   It’s only through God’s word which is the sword of and the power of the Holy Spirit  that deliverance comes, God’s word say’s “where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Freedom” nothing else can bring the healing and freedom that people seek like God’s word in their times of need.

Now before I get into sharing my experiences in this type of ministry I want to say that there are many out there that work in this type of ministry and may have some different approaches on how to cast out demons.   One thing I want to make perfectly clear is that I depend on a relationship with the Holy Spirit of God through Christ Jesus.     The Holy Spirit is our teacher, and counselor and he directs the process and order how the deliverance will go.   But one thing doesn’t change is the fact that God’s word is never ever left out of the equation in the process.    Sometimes the order may change where you may need to first cast out the demon and then apply the word; it’s the only thing that can destroy every stronghold and bondage of every kind.

Also what I’m going to share and give to you is a merely a foundational scriptural structure that gives a Godly order in the process of deliverance using sound biblical principles through God’s word.   This is to give you a basic structure that can be changed at anytime guided by the Holy Spirit to fit the bondage and strongholds that need to be broken off a person.   As ministers of the gospel we have been call to equip the church to go and do good works of the gospel in the name of Christ Jesus.    The scripture template that I’m going to share in Part 2 of this series is something that God gave to me in a recent deliverance session to hand down to my son-in-law who was with me for this session and the purpose

for this, is so that he would be equipped to minister to those in need of deliverance when call to do so by God.    Today there are many households that are going through these types of attacks but many keep quite because of what others may say in unbelief or sadly what their church leaders may say and don’t want to get involved in such matters for whatever their reasons may be.   Many people depend on their church leaders to understand what they’re going through but sadly are discourage by their response to them, that they don’t have enough faith, or it’s just their imagination and there are no real such things.

Now that may surprise a lot of you, that pastors and the leadership of churches would even say such things but unfortunately, many that have come to me have confirmed what I’ve just shared with you.    Many are told that they may need to seek outside professional help and that they are not equipped to handle such issues, boy is that sad!

Now, don’t go out looking for such things and knocking on neighbors doors asking if there are demons in their homes.   I always allow God to bring those types of matters to me, like the bible says; there are seasons for everything that’s including deliverances.     Remember the story in the bible that there were a group of religious leaders that thought they go out and cast out a demon from a man that was from their village, and said to the demon “come out in the name of Paul’s God” and the demon answered, “Paul I know and Jesus I know but you I do not know” well what we read next, is that those religious leaders came running out the home beaten, bloodied and naked.   Always allow God to lead you in those kinds of circumstances and allow the Holy Spirit to prepare you so that you are not caught, ignorant of things that might cause you harm to your spiritual well being.     Now it’s important that I take the time to explain some things to you to properly set the stage and to have the right biblical principles according to God’s word.    I don’t want to just show you the scriptural template in Part 2 and think that all you need to do, is just speak out the word and the devil is just going come out screaming and pleading for mercy.

Now it wouldn’t look so good that you’d be the one screaming for mercy running out your neighbor’s house beaten and naked…uhhhh, call me crazy…but I don’t think that would go over real big with the neighbor’s. ;)

Now I’m saying this because there are those who think like these religious leaders, because they’re well versed in scripture they think that qualifies them to go out and do a deliverance session on a person or home and end up do more damage than good.    Spend quality time with God and meditate on his word and scriptures that I have put down below and allow His Holy Spirit to give you revelation to get you spiritually fit, so Let’s look at couple of scriptures about revelation and spiritual fitness.

SPIRITUAL FITNESS:

1Timothy 4:7-8 (Amplified Bible)

“But refuse and avoid irreverent legends mere Grandmothers’ tales and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness, keeping yourself spiritually fit”.

REVELATION:

Ephesians 1:17-23 (NIV Bible) – Paul writes:

17)I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

18) I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

19) and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,

20) Which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

21) Far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

22) And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,

23) Which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way

Even now, take the time to meditate on these scriptures and allow the Holy Spirit to give you revelation of what you’re reading; don’t be in a rush to read on.   You know I could give you my take on what I see in these scriptures but I believe it’s important, that revelation should originate between you and God.   So when the time comes for you to minister to someone, it should be something that God birth out of your spirit not from what I or someone else has said.

Now let me tell why that’s so important.    Let’s recap what the demon said to the religious leaders trying to cast him out! He said “Paul I know and Jesus I know but you, I do not know” trust me the devil will know who you are and whether you’re coming at him with your own intellect or speaking from the spirit, heart and wisdom of God.     Now understand these religious leaders tried to cast this demon in the name of Paul’s God.    So first of all, the demon recognized that these leaders spoke as earthly intellectual religious men and second of all, the demon also recognized what dimension was backing them up, it was either an earthly or heavenly dimension.   So, which side do you think will cause a demon to tremble?

I have other scriptures further down which I would also ask that you stop and meditate on those as well.   I can’t emphasize enough how important that is and hopefully you’ve done that with the ones above and if you have, you’ll understand the importance of what I have just said.   I’m also going to purposely wait to post Part 2 for a few days, I really want people that would like God to use them in this area, to be in prayer and meditate in God’s word with all that’s been shared.    Of course please don’t neglect your regular devotional time in the bible as well.   I really want you to give time allowing these verses to settle in your hearts before moving on to Part 2; Now Part 2 is ready and I’ll format it, both in Word and as a PDF file.

Now there are many who are going through such torment as we speak in your very own block or community that you live in and experiencing these demonic attacks in their homes.  When God brings these types of issues before me, then I know that the person (s) are ready to receive deliverance and are ready to except the help.

Now it is always God’s will for everyone to be delivered from these attacks and freed from the bondage of the enemy.    There are those who really don’t want to be prayed for, for various reasons and trust me, I have heard many reasons that don’t make sense.    Some aren’t being tormented but being enticed by its power and don’t really want to give up what they’re experiencing.

For example, a church I once was attending the Pastor would have an extended time of worship and prayer after the initial service was over.  On this one particular evening the Pastors wife and another leaders spouse were in another room praying for people.   Suddenly I was called to the prayer room as the pastors wife explained to me, that as they were praying for a young lady they felt that something wasn’t right and asked if I would talk to her and pray for her.   So I spoke to the young lady and asked if she wouldn’t mind me praying over her and she was more than willing to allow me to do that.   When I prayed over her, I sensed that there was a demonic presence on her, so I commanded that if there were any unclean spirit on her to manifest it’s self and as soon as I had made that command, the girl suddenly arched her back over the back of the chair and her neck jerked back quickly, then here eye’s rolled completely back until you could only see the white of her eye’s, then her neck imploded like a frog’s neck would do when croaking.

So when there was evidence of a demonic spirit, I commanded it to leave but I discerned right away that the girl was resisting at the same time.  I then told the demon to be still and the girl sat back up on the chair and was normal again.  I then told her if was she aware of a demonic spirit attached to her, and she said yes that she was aware of it but quickly told me that the spirit is a good spirit and said that her family believe there other spirits that help people giving them power to having an empowered life.   Now if that wasn’t something her whole family attended the mother church of this denomination regularly.

So I told the girl that it would be best that she and her friend leave our church and not return because we don’t approve of such beliefs, and feel that they are contrary of God’s word and that if she would return, then I would be force to cast out that demon forever, She didn’t want that and left quietly.   There are many Christians attending church who are just like this young lady and her family.   I’ve prayed for many in the pass ignorant in these things and find themselves sooner or later, undergoing demonic attacks because of believing in the false enticing power of the enemy.    The pastor jokingly said to me “Joel we’ll need to get you a pager that glows red like the Bat phone (Batman) that would say 911 devil” the funny thing was… about that time, I’ve could have probably used one, I was really busy in that area of ministry.   I could go on with stories like that but I’ll save that for a book I’ll write in the future.

Then, there are those that don’t want to change their ways of a sinful lifestyle or give up habits that opens up doors that allows the enemy to atacking their physical and mental well being.

There are many that don’t understand as well… that demonic spirits can attach themselves to them because of the type of people they associate with or environments they place themselves in.    Also curses that other people may put on them or a type of occulted activity such as seeing physic palm readers or having their future read through tarot cards.    There are also generational curses of pass sins or family and illnesses passed down through generations of the family line and have never been broken.   Those types of things will open doorways for demonic attacks and continue onto the next generation and could attach themselves to their spouses and children.

Now I’m not trying to scare anyone but these are things that we should not to be ignorant of.   Remember we are more than conquers in Christ, so what I want to do is equip you and give you God’s word which is the sword of the Spirit, and God says that His word is alive and active and like a double edge sword.

HEBREWS 4:12 (Amplified Bible)

4) “For the Word of God speaks is alive and full of power making it active, operative, energizing, and effective; it is sharper that any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart”.

There is a lot of nuggets in this verse take the time as the bible would say Sela’ (Meditate).

1.     Reconciliation

2.     Justification

3.     The Spiritual Blessing of Christ

4.     God Has a Plan For You

5.     Keys to The Kingdom, and the Full Armor of God

6.     Cleansing The Home and Praying over those who dwell in it

Jesus told his disciples that only through prayer and fasting we have power over the enemy of darkness.   It’s important that when you are going to do something like this, be sure that you at least fast a minimum of 3 to 5 days so that you are spiritually sound and in sync with the Holy Spirit of God to receiving revelation and discernment, showing you as to the series of steps He wants you to take leading to a successful outcome.   Let God be in control, again, have His word settled in your heart.

When fasting, expect God to speak into your spirit go into the fast expecting him to give you divine direction, He’s not going to leave you out there on your own.  This spiritual template that God has given will help you and others to help bring wholeness, healing and deliverance through the power of God’s word to those around you.   The template will have all the scriptures and verses in the order of the six key biblical topics that you see above.

Now during your fasting and as your reading these scriptures get them into your spirit, so when the time comes you’re not just reading them mentally intellectually but speaking them through the very core of the heart of your spirit.  God’s word says in 1 Cor. 4:20 “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of Power”.

So, let’s re-enforce what God says about his promises through the following scriptures below:

God’s Word Is Settled in Heaven

 PSALM 119: 89 – (Amplified Bible)

“Forever O Lord, your word is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens]”.

ISAIAH 55:11

“So is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return to me void (empty), but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it”.

ISAIAH 45:23

“By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all righteousness (Integrity) a word that will not be revoked”…

God even went so far as to saying, that His word was sworn through himself!

God made promises which He is committed to fulfill through Covenant. God’s word is settled in heaven!

JEREMAIAH 1:11-12 (Amplified Bible)

“Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]”.

“Then said the Lord to me, you have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it”.

God’s word attacks those circumstances that are contrary to His will and he’s watching over it himself to guaranteeing it performs to fulfilling what is promised.

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20

“No matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” (So be it) is spoken by us to the glory of God”.

I also want to mention that it’s always good to have one or two other people with you when ministering in this area.    Those that you ask to join you should be on the same level of faith and spiritual maturity as you are.   I’ve always had someone with me when doing this because I believe that others have gifts that God can use, you may need to be the one focusing on the application of prayer in the various rooms of a home while someone else can come behind you and anoint the doorways as you proclaim each environment Holy Ground and dedicated to the Lord.    A third person can be in constant payer over each place your group sets foot in and prayer of protection over the occupants of the home who will also be accompany you through your walk through of the home.

The same principle applies, if you’re just ministering over one person, having people with the same level of faith and belief system as you do and as well a small group.

As I said each person on the team God can use, what one may miss the other can catch something that needs to be covered or even scripturally read that may come to mind, as well prophetic utterance from someone of the team that will expose the scheme of the enemy to bring to light to be dealt with.    Remember God is a God of order and not confusion, I’m saying this because people that are with you all need to understand the term “Team player” Jesus had his own team known as his disciples, so if Jesus had a team then we should too.   Everyone is on an even playing field, now like any team there’s a team leader,  there’s a saying that I and other leaders have used from time to time, “Act like an owner but don’t take ownership” that goes for everyone on the team.

It’s important to have strong people skills, a real people person, this is very important because more than likely most people that you’re going to minister too, may not be familiar with you and may be apprehensive as to the type of process you’re going to take them through.    The enemy will fill them with all kinds of ideas to bring doubt and fear and that you’re going to take them, though some kind of scary ritual.   You need to ease their minds very quickly to tear down those walls of resistance and fear the enemy would try to instill in them to discourage them from their deliverance.

Let me give you an example of a couple that I, my son-in-law and friend of his ministered to.  When we arrived at the home the enemy had already put in the couples mind, that we were going to take them through some kind wired ritual and that more harm would be done if they allowed us to minister to them.    You see, for this couple the demon had already physically materialize in front of them and would speak to them to instill fear, now this was an extreme case.   The demon tried to give a false warning about me.   But because I had been fasting along with the others, God had already fore warned me what the enemy was doing and saying, so I knew that I would need to ease their minds as quickly as possible.

Now the one thing that helped was the fact that my son-in-law’s friend who accompanied us was a mutual co-worker of the man of the house.  So it’s important to have someone that knows the persons you’re going to minister to, if at all possible why? Because there will be a trust factor that will help bring the stress level and anxiety levels down unless the persons are already familiar with you, then there won’t be a problem.

Also you should only have just the right amount of people needed for the immediate needs and each should have an actual function in the whole process. You don’t need an army of people and the reason being, that could be used as a distraction that the enemy may try to use against you why, you want to use Godly wisdom the number of people you bring to avoid those who are merely only there out of curiosity, and aren’t spiritually qualified to be there.   So imagine the enemy jumping on that person and there you are, with someone freaking out and now the enemy just caused a distraction, now you have to deal with something that could have been avoided altogether.    The persons your trying to minister too are now fearful, and may want to cancel the whole session altogether.

This is why we must prepare ourselves spiritually and those that are with you also need to be spiritually prepared, so that Godly wisdom is evident by those who are being minister too.

Let’s talk about a couple of things:

Angels, ask God to send Warring Angels with binding chains and dispatch them ahead of you and bind every unclean spirit in the home and cast these spirits down to the abyss where they belong.  Use everything that heaven has to offer.

Elements needed to administer during the process of the deliverance session

Anointing Oil, is a symbolic spiritual representation of the purity and power of the Holy Spirit, it can be used to anoint a person and doorways of homes etc.    You can use olive oil for this. It’s important to pray over it and ask God to sanctify and bless it.

Exodus 29:7

"Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him."

Exodus 40:9

"You shall take anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall consecrate it and all its furniture, and it shall become holy."

Then there’s Holy Water, now some Christians don’t use holy water often, but I would recommend it and this is why, in the pass I’ve never really used it until now, because the Lord reveled to me the day that Christ was pierced on his side blood and water flowed which took up all our transgressions and sealed it with a covenant of redemption.  Water is also used for baptism which is a symbolic representation of spiritual cleansing

The Old Testament mentions the use of water in cleansing a home, we find that in

LEVITICUS 14:49-53

"And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water: And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times: And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet: But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean."

There is nothing greater than the blood of Christ that’s represented through these types of spiritual Symbolic elements that the enemy is reminded of his defeat and the resurrection power that exerted Christ from death.

ROMANS 4:21

21)  “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification”

EPHESIANS 1:6

6) “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”

The Holy Water reminds the devil that he has no power or authority to hold anyone in bondage.   So when you sprinkle the Holy Water on the person and or room it is covered by the blood of Christ and that is what the enemy sees.

Sprinkling of Holy Water:

·        Persons

·        Garage

·        Closets

·        Restrooms

·         Shower stalls

·        Over children’s toys

·        Pets, including the areas they sleep

One other important thing before I go on, if a woman is pregnant be sure to anoint the womb with the anointing oil as well sprinkle the Holy Water over it and ask the Lord that it be protected and not go under any stress what so ever and that it be protected, covered by the blood of Christ in Jesus name.

These are just things to know and think about, as I said, God is a God of order not confusion! Remember this one thing, it is through God’s word that will set these people free not what you think should be said.   The moment you take it upon yourself to take ownership of the matter, you’re going to fail and have a real fight on your hands that you might not be ready for.

A few things to recap on and things to follow through with:

1.     Never minister alone, always have others with you and keep the group small so it doesn’t over whelm the person (s) whom you’re ministering to.  Unless you feel otherwise necessary and that God has put that in your heart, then do so.

2.     Be sure that you and the others fast a minimum of 3 to 5 days

3.      Be sure that you and the team gather together prior to your destination and discuss the order of things.

4.     Choose who among you on the team will be the key speaker to representing the group and tasks each will be performing.

5.      Ask God to consecrate each of you with the blood of Christ repent of all sins so that you’re in right standing with God and a covering of protection.  Also pray a covering over your personal families that no weapon forge can come against them and are covered under the blood of Christ, the purpose of this, is so that the enemy is rendered powerless of retaliation against you and your family

6.     Pray over the elements such as the anointing oil and Holy water for God to sanctify it and bless it and anoint each member of the team

7.     Ask the Lord to give you discernment regarding spiritual doorways and their locations in the house that the enemy has entered from.

8.     Be a team player, don’t take ownership of the team…”my way or the highway attitude! Don’t give the enemy a foot hold for division

9.     Be confident that God is with you and don’t be surprised by anything the enemy would do if he becomes confrontational, remember you have the word that demolishes every stronghold.

10.   When arriving at the home, announce to the enemy that you come in the name of Christ Jesus the Great I ‘am in whom you serve and that you’re serving him his eviction notice and no longer welcome in the home or facility etc.

11.  Command the demonic presence to be still and not disturb you while your ministering to the occupants of the home

12. Introduce yourself and the team and find an area where all can sit to begin the session, open up with prayer however the Lord leads and anoint each member of the home and sprinkle Holy Water over them as well

13.  Dispatch warring Angels with binding chains to begin binding every unclean spirit in the house casting them to the abyss where they belong

14.    Apply the anointing oil over all doorways of the home on both sides of door jam and sprinkle Holy Water as well.

15. Pray around the exterior of the house sprinkling Holy water around the property and dedicate it to the Lord and claim it as holy ground and that nothing unholy can pass the property line

I believe that’s good for now, I’ll get into other details in Part 2 when I present the scriptural template as we go through each topic to ensure we don’t miss anything.  What I would like to do as well after Part 2 has been presented I will try to put together a video interview with the couple as to the results of the biblical structure followed like the one duplicated, you’ll receive.  I think it would be great to hear their testimony how they were set free from the word of God and share their experience with you.   I’ll try to set that up with them in the near future, well this concludes Part 1 please take the time for the next few days before I post Part 2 and allow God to minister to you of everything that has been shared.

Now when I and my son-in-law and his friend worked as a team the couple could see it and they felt at ease.   I gave my guys each a specific task so that there would be order in the whole process when ministering to the couple.    Why is this so important! Because those who are being ministered to need to see God’s in control right from the get go.

It’s been… I believe about six months and the couple is going to church and there has been no demonic disturbance in their home and the Lord’s peace now resides there.

As always, thank you for taking the time to read my post, it’s very much appreciated.  I hope it has been a blessing to you and thank you for your support please share this with others.

UNDERSTANDING GOD's KINGDOM ENVIRONMENT

Posted on by Evangelist Joel Torres

In part 1 I discussed kingdom environment, the definition for environment is simply “Surrounding influences” God’s influence and nature fills every part of an environment He has built and created.  Ephesians 1:23 says “His body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” If God’s full presence and nature is in an environment then understand that everything will be there for you to succeed and faith will activate in your spirit in His presence to hear his decree of what He envisions to do and what He wants to achieve in that environment.

Look what Jesus said to his disciples in Luke 22:29

29) “And my Father has appointed a kingdom and conferred it on Me, so do I confer on you the privilege and decree”.

Confer:

1.      Discuss something with somebody in order to compare opinions or make a decision,

God wants to have full communication with us to making the right decisions regarding His environment to achieving the purpose in which it was designed for and operating it under a kingdom system.

2.      Give honor or title or favor to somebody, God wants to reward us by allowing us the privilege of becoming steward leaders and that we would gain favor in His sight in over seeing His Kingdom realm here on earth so that we’re able to rule with him in the Kingdom of Heaven to come, as mentioned in Verse 30.

Knowledge of the Kingdom System

The Lord wants us to understand how to maintain, manage and operate the Kingdom here on earth, just as the Father had conferred to Him and now wanting to confer on us.   The purpose of this is so that we will be aware of what He has put in position and in place through a royal authority that God’s Kingdom runs by, which is designed to nurture and equip people to branch out in and outside the church in serving others and spreading of the gospel Collectively and individually.

Not Take Ownership but Partnership, Acting Like an Owner

Unfortunately some leaders assume they know what God wants in His kingdom environment, they bring an outside leadership mindset from their jobs thinking that’s how you run God’s business or Kingdom environment….WRONG!! How can you compare a material environment to a spiritual environment….there’s no comparison!

This type of approach will only frustrate a leader and those around him, only to find he has no followers or partnerships. We need to remember who owns the environment and who doesn’t.

Some church leaders run their church in a “God is Love, kumbaya”! Mentality now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for God is love type of fellowship with my brothers and sisters in the lord or a good “Kumbaya” around a camp fire, but that’s not what God designed His church to be like 24/7…PLEASE!

Then we have church leaders who feel that their church is going to be a community outreach church only and expect all the leaders and congregation to jump on board with that, leaving no room for individual leadership growth. Now don’t miss understand me I truly believe that every church should reach out to their perspective communities in one way or another. When a church leaves no room for needed discipleship programs that would allow individuals to discover their potential then I guarantee, there’s going to be a problem.

That may work for awhile but sooner or later these leaders are going to grow weary and become frustrated. They have not been given the opportunity to spread their wings in an area that they feel God is calling them to, only because they haven’t been equipped to do so.

I have visited the same churches from time to time only to see that through the years they pretty much have remained the same size. Now I know what you’re thinking, Joel size shouldn’t be a factor for making a good church… yes your right but there should be some evidence of leadership growth.  For example where are the Missionaries, Evangelists, Godly Entrepreneurs, Humanitarians, and Prophets and so on? The only thing that I’ve witnessed is a congregational revolving door, only trading new faces for the old ones.

Leaders have been guilty of taking ownership and not partnership with the Holy Spirit. God’s environment is not subject to any boundaries, or limitations of any kind.

One thing that God desires for us is to have revelation to understanding His purpose and perfect will.   His objectives and goals are in everything He does. The more knowledge we gain  of God the better off we will be, enabling us to see the bigger picture and finding it much bigger than ourselves.

Paul writes in Ephesians 1: 17-19

17)I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit/of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better”.

18)”I pray also that the eyes to your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints”.

 Ephesians 1:11

11)”in him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will”.

We’ve all be been called to go beyond the ordinary according to His plan that is conformity to His perfect will.

Environmentally Friendly

Hebrews 10:36

36)”For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away what is promised”.

God will always put us in different Kingdom Environments and each environment has its requirements by those who run them. I feel this is where the steadfast patience comes in for me, most of the time it’s having patience with those we work alongside with in leadership. Each appointed leader has a different approach to issues and matters that rise up in any particular environment. We as leaders  need to be constantly praying for guidance and the safeguarding of our hearts.

One thing that I’ve learned through the years of ministry that God has taught me is to become environmentally friendly. In other words, those who claim to love Christ ought to be enough for you to work alongside them no matter what they think or do.

If I know that God had called me into one of His environments and has entrusted me to be a part of it and having accepted it from Him, then I cannot simply walk away from it but persevere to seeing it through the end no matter how tough it may get or how it may seem my character is attacked.

Hebrews 10:35

35)”Do not; therefore fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward”.

Now God has given me a mandate to fulfill and that alone….is the bottom line and objective that I must fulfill and keep in mind at all times. It’s the very thing that will lead me into receiving the promised reward and should not allow anything or anyone to shake my God confidence in me.

I must have confidence that I have already been approved and entrusted by God because of the mandate and Spiritual gifts in my life. We must have faith and trust in the mandate given to us. Now that doesn’t mean we’re not going to make some mistakes along the way in the process of each environment that God has put us in. I’ve been promised by God that He would take me to heights where only He can take me; I’m not dependent on anyone but God to fulfill my mandate. Now if God was to tell me, Joel your done in this environment I’ve put you in…then I would have no problem walking away knowing and having confidence that I had fulfilled my obedience to Him and stood on the initial conviction without wavering to which I was called.

Hebrews 10:38

38)”But the just shall live by faith (My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it); and if he draws back and shrinks in fear. My soul has no delight or pleasure in him”.

There are a couple things I want to point out in this verse, I’ve already talked about Conviction in part 1 but I would like to point out Respecting & Conjoined.

1)      “Respecting man’s relationship with God”. Now as you already know many of us in ministry sometimes have different ways of approaching and doing ministry as well as doctrinal differences, but we must respect each man’s Godly relationship and how they may be guided through that relationship, but we all are working together because we’re all trying to accomplish the same spiritual goal and that’s pointing people in the direction of God and so on.

Now, there are times I don’t see eye to eye on something’s with a leader but I respect their relationship with God so therefore that has to be enough for me to work alongside them and with others as well. Why? Because the overall objective and goal is accomplishing what God has envisioned for any of His environments or particular area of service that He has put us in and this outweighs anything on a personal level.  Again it all comes down to the initial conviction each of us received from the Holy Spirit and why we’re a part of any of his Kingdom environments of service.  It’s like Paul said, that he had to become all things to all men, sometimes we just need to become what the leader needs in order to fulfill the bigger picture, it doesn’t mean we have to like it or completely agree with it, just respect it.

2)      Conjoined with it” If we have “Conjoined” ourselves with the nature of God that designed and structured the environment then our own human nature and anyone else’s nature for that matter cannot stand in the way of us fulfilling His purpose. Whatever evidence that reveals itself as God inspired through the leading of the Holy Spirit of things divine, noble and holy fervor born of faith then we are conjoined with it as God wills it in our spirit and to align ourselves with the spiritual structure He has put in place. It will enable us to catch the vision in order to fulfill the mission.

Each level of growth that we want to achieve is always going to require a paradigm shift of a renewed spirit …what I mean by paradigm shift, is a spiritual pattern of behavior of change. This is going to be needed for the next level; For example, in the book of Romans.

Romans 12:2

2) “Do not be conformed to this world of this age, (fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs), but be transformed (changed) by the (entire) renewal of your mind (by its new ideas and its new attitude), so that you may prove (for yourselves) what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect (in His sight for you)”.

Another great example of this renewed spiritual transformation is found in the book of Colossians.

Colossians 3:10

10) “Clothed yourselves with the new spiritual self, which is ever in the process of being renewed and remolded in the fuller and more perfect knowledge upon knowledge after the image the likeness of Him who created it”.

What this means is that there is an ongoing renewing process of spirit which will never cease in our walk with God.    The key purpose for this constant renewing is so that we will have a fresh perspective of insight or what we may call spiritual decrement through the Holy Spirit taking us through the process of less of us and more of God.   Once that happens we’re able to enter into the perfection of God’s knowledge that will allow us to sense and feel the likeness of God’s nature more and more.    We’ll begin to think like God causing our spiritual senses to becoming keener as to His perfect will for His environments and direction he desires us to go, to achieving the mandate of our lives for the Kingdom.

Well, this concludes PART 2 I hope you have enjoyed and have been blessed by what’s been written here, if not, well all I can say is … I’ll pray for you J but seriously, I do hope it’s been an enlightenment to the heart of your spirit. No matter whether you’re a Pastor or involve in a level of leadership, I believe it applies to all of us.

In closing I would ask if you would help me spread these blogs to others that you think may be blessed by what’s been shared with you, please pass these blogs along especially to those you know are involve in leadership  in one form or another, that would be a great support to me and my ministry.

As always thank you so very much for taking the time to read my blogs, if you’re a Pastor reading this blog and feel that this would minister to your leaders of your church please encourage them to read it or print out my blogs, if you feel incline to do so.

If you feel I could be a blessing to your congregation and would like me to speak at one of your services, please feel free to contact me at jtorresministries@msn.com

MAINTAINING YOUR CALL THROUGH THE CONVICTION OF FAITH / PART 1

Posted on by Evangelist Joel Torres

Image6.jpg

We have heard and have read in God’s word “Many are called, but few are chosen”, how do we maintain our call, how do we become one of the chosen.   One of the first things I would like to talk about  is “SPIRITUAL CONVICTION” I’m talking about the initial reason why you answered the call you feel is a divine appointment from God, through the years I have heard many say how they’re called to be in a place for serving in a particular area of ministry and boy… do they say it with such conviction, that God has spoken to their hearts that they are called to be a part of a movement of God that is stirring their faith and so on.

Everything that we do or hope for is by Faith now I believe there are different components and sides to faith, some Christians think of faith as taking a leap of faith which we all have heard of or something like that and only see faith as one sided.   Once we gain the understanding of what these spiritual components are, we’ll gain wisdom that will help us understand the reality of what we hope for in Christ.

The one thing people fail to understand is not only commitment but flexibility of the heart and attitude adjustments will be needed. Transformation and humility are going to be the main requirements in order to fulfill what you think God is calling you to do and how He will justify to promoting you to the next level in your ministerial endeavourers.

Now why is it that many fail to stay the course and steadfastness in their callings, easy… simply something became a stumbling block and more likely is they themselves who block their own path to achieving their call or service they felt God called them to do.  I like what it says about Faith in Chapter 11 of Hebrews in the Amplified version of the Bible, “Now Faith is (the assurance the confirmation, the title deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the Conviction of their reality (faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses”).

We must always stand on the initial CONVICTION we receive in anything that God has called us into.   Whenever God presents something to us and we feel what’s being presented to us as part of that mandate and faith is stirring in our spirit then we know it was not revealed to us by our own senses but through the HOLY SPIRIT.  We need to stand firm and never allow this spiritual conviction be shaken no matter what is challenging us in any environment we’re serving in, if we do this we’ll move in a God-ward motion like forward motion to fulfilling God’s perfect will.

The conviction of the mandate in my life is what matters to me the most; it’s not whether I get or receive any monetary gain of any kind…God can give me those things any time He wants; the most important thing is how I complete each part of the divine mandate given me.

When people do not stay the course it’s usually because of pride or offenses, or the fear of what leaders may think or say about them that their confidence has been shaken.

God gave us what I call, “God Confidence” which you can find this topic in Hebrews 10:35-38 which I’ll expound later in Part 2 under “Understanding God’s Kingdom Environment”.

There is Spiritual maturity that needs to take place in order to get where you envision to go, many Christians call it a test whatever you may call it, it’s required.    There are times that God may call you in a place that you were not originally intended to be a part of, what I call… “Sometimes You Don’t See The Fit” but because God can trust you and the gifts given by Him may be needed to fulfill the vision of what He has created in a new Kingdom environment, which will need your immediate attention.  What’s needed from us is partnering with the Holy Spirit giving God the total controlling interest of our lives so that our faith can have its way with us allowing us to feel and experience God’s perfect will for each and every purpose of those around us.

Look at what Paul wrote in Romans 8:28

28) We are assured and know that God being a partner in their labor all things work together and are fitting into a plan for good to and for those who love God and are called according to His design and purpose”.

It’s not so much what you can do talent wise or how you fit in the scheme of things it’s the gifts that God had bestowed upon you that fit in His plan.   By Faith put your confidence in what he has given you and you will see what God has envisioned in His plan which was designed by Him to fulfilling His purpose.

“We don’t move by sight but by faith”

Well I think this concludes Part 1, I will continue with these thoughts in Part 2 entitled “Understanding God’s Kingdom Environment”
